HTC launches Android phones: HTC Desire Z and HTC Desire HD

HTC has unveiled two new Android phones promising up to 20 per cent better battery life and an enhanced version of the HTC Sense interface with improved mapping software, sound and multimedia capabilities. A new website, HTCsense.com, will also allow users to manage information on their phone through their computer.

The Desire HD comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display and is powered by 1GHz 8255 Snapdragon processor. It also sports an 8 megapixel camera with 720p video capture capability.

The Desire Z is similar to T-Mobile G2 with 3.7 inch display, a QWERTY keyboard and has an 8 megapixel camera with 720p video recording capacity. It runs on 800MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230 processor.
